Joseph Naleway, age 92 of Johnsburg, IL passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1930, in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Angeline (Markiewicz) Naleway.
Joseph was an avid motorcyclist who owned 3 Harley Davidsons over the years, and he also belonged to a motorcycle club. He was a supervisor of over 800 employees at Baxter Laboratories, while being a Chief Design Mold Engineer. He enjoyed his golf until he was in his mid-80's. His greatest accomplishment was his family, and he was a very proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He planted a tree on his property for every grandchild and great-grandchild.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, his children; David (Nancy) Naleway, Joel (Lynn) Naleway, his brother; Tom (Jane) Naleway, his grandchildren; Joe, Grace, Michael, Luke, Erin, John, Timothy, Jordan, Patrick, Jack and his 11 great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Angeline (Markiewicz) Naleway, his first wife; Ruth Naleway, his children; Kathy Ehrmann, Stacey Naleway, his granddaughter; Annie, his siblings; James Naleway and Terry Paderta.
Visitation will be held at the Justen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL, on Monday, August 8, 2022, from 6-8 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 9-9:30 am. Funeral mass will be held at the St. John's Catholic Church, 2302 W. Church Street, Johnsburg, IL, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
