Jule Foster Obituary
She was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Oak Park, to Robert Francis and Rosemary Kane McGovern.
She is survived by her children, Sean Edward Foster, Meagan Ann Burns and Kevin Patrick Foster. She was the loving grandmother of Maggie Mae Foster. She is further survived by brothers, Robert Francis and Michael Kane McGovern. She was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews and will be missed by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Timothy; partner, Warren Stowe; her father and mother; and favorite twin brothers, Timothy Francis and Thomas Francis McGovern.
Jule was a passionate and award-winning quilter. She loved the Green Bay Packers and shopping for her granddaughter, Maggie Mae. She enjoyed these pastimes and passions after her retirement from the U.S. Post Office. Jule loved her family, and her generous spirit and selfless heart were felt by all who knew her. She was a fighter until the very end and will be tremendously missed.
The memorial service will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock.

Although I did not know Jule all that well, she made my day a couple weeks ago. She told me that i was "an angel in disguise" because I helped her feel more comfortable in the hospital. Jule definitely was a fighter, to her family who I heard so much about, my condolences. Now shes your angel, I will never forget this truely amazing woman.

To Jule's Family: It was great working with Jule at the Post Office. I am sorry to hear of her passing. Occassionally I would see her at Walmart in Woodstock and at Joseph's in Crystal Lake and would stop to talk to her. My husband Jim Vorisek and I send out thoughts and prayers to the family. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult loss. God however "is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." He also promised us that in the near future "He will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore."
Beautiful just like Jule was inside and out.

I'm so sorry Jule is gone to live amongst the Angels...she was truely an Angel to us. She will definately be missed as we all loved her spunk and generous personality.

So sorry to hear this, my sympathies to all of the family. Jules was an awesome lady, I'm so happy she was able to share a part of her life, quilts, crafts,and good times with me. She will always be remembered with a smile.
