Algonquin, IL - Kenneth Allan "Ken" Fullick, 76, passed away on October 15, 2023. Born on November 1, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, Ken was a devoted brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
Ken dedicated his career to excellence as the owner of Accurate Spring Tech and Hill Design Products. His innovative spirit led him to invent, develop, and manufacture patented window components that have become integral to residential windows across the country. His contributions to the industry will be remembered for years to come.
Outside of his professional life, Ken found joy in the simple pleasures. As a young boy, he bonded with his father over building go-carts and racing them with friends. Later in life, he cherished attending his grandchildren's games and activities, earning the endearing nickname "Papa Ken." He was the leader of the cheering squad, always there to support and encourage his beloved grandchildren.
Ken loved spending time outdoors sharing the joys of boating and snowmobiling with friends and family. Additionally, he was a dedicated donor and supporter of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where he earned the esteemed "Major Benefactor" distinction and a place in their Hall of Benefactors.
Ken is survived by his two sons, Douglas (Kate) and Daniel (Jennifer), his cherished grandchildren, Connor, Kiera, Vernon and his sister Marlyss Fisher. His memory will forever live on in their hearts, as well as in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 3, 2023, at 1:00 PM Central at the Quarry Cable Park, 5517 Northwest Highway, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together to share memories of a life well lived.
