Louise Bakley
Born: March 22, 1929 in Hampshire, IL
Died: August 13, 2025 in Huntley, IL
Louise Bakley, 96, of Huntley, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, at Heritage Woods in Huntley.
Louise was born on March 22, 1929, the daughter of Ferdinand and Emily Schiesher in Hampshire, IL. She went on to marry Clyde (Buck) Bakley on June 12, 1948; where she helped as a secretary for Bakley Drain Tile starting in the early 50's. Louise was a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church in Huntley. They retired and enjoyed traveling to Florida, playing golf, taking walks and playing cards with their friends. She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
She is survived by her two sons; Gary and James Bakley; by her grandchildren Chad Bakley, Jordon (Claire) Bakley, Summer Bakley, Chandra (Niko) Kanakaris and Kali (Brad) Sass; great-grandchildren Hailey Bakley, Cora & Rose Bakley, Brennan Kresal, Elly Winter, George, Eli & Charlie Kanakaris, Maylen, Brayden, Grady & Hayven Sass; and her newest great-great grandson Westen Bakley.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 70 years, Buck.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00pm in the afternoon at Niko's Grill & Pub – 7509 S. Grant Highway in Marengo. Flowers may be sent directly to Niko's Grill & Pub.
