I was always happy to see my Aunt Mary's yellow Saab parked near our house. That meant that Aunt Mary was visiting. She practiced her massage on me a couple times when I was very ypung, and helped me with my German homework in highschool. She gave me advice and shared with me about her experiences when I was living abroad and learning Spanish. We talked about h
the joys and struggles in the education field when I started teaching. She helped me through other things as I grew older, and she would tell me about all the great books she was reading with her book group at her "little library." I miss her very much. I am grateful for the memories of her bringing velamints and eucalyptus to us when we were young through the discussions on Jung and life and books and joys and struggles later on.

Miss Baechle was my German teacher for four years. She was the best and had a great sense of humor. I'm not surprised she became a massage therapist.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Mary through the library. She was a caring, intelligent, interesting, and all around lovely person who I will miss greatly. Rest in peace, Mary.
