Nicholas A. Franchi, age 26, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Chicago.
He was born November 16, 1990 in Skokie to Angelo D. and Linda L. (Nottoli) Franchi. Nicholas was a graduate of Richmond Burton High School Class of 2009. He was a loving dad to his son Miles. In his free time he enjoyed skateboarding, video gaming, snowboarding, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Nicholas is survived by his son, Miles Franchi; his parents; a brother, Joseph Franchi; a sister, Angelina Franchi; his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Nottoli; paternal grandmother, Julia Franchi; aunts, Laura (Alan Craig) Nottoli, Adrienne (Brad) Harum; uncle, Joseph Nottoli; cousin, Kylee Craig.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Nottoli (2013); and paternal grandfather, Angelino Franchi (1982).
Visitation will be held at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove, IL on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the 3:00 pm Celebration of Life service. Cremation will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated towards the educational fund of Nick's son, Miles Franchi. This fund will be administered by his grandmother, Linda Franchi. Donations can be sent in care of Linda or Angelo.
