Nicholas (Nick) Sarillo born on November 5,1941 passed away on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.
Dear husband to Debra Dawson. Loving father to Nicholas (Celena), Domenica, Anthony, and step-father to Jolene (Mike). Brother to Joseph (Ursula), Frank (Laurie), Michael (Marcy), and Rocco (Carol). Proud Papa to Gina (David), Dominic, Michelle (Timothy), Nicholas, Daniel, Anthony, Joseph and Michael. Cherished Papa-Papa to 5 great grandchildren. Beloved by many who called him a loyal friend and considered him family.
Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Sarillo, who he was endlessly proud of.
Nick will be remembered for his perseverance and work ethic, his fierce love for his family, his words of wisdom, and his always unique choice of language. Nick's legacy will live on in his family and friends, those who were part of his many stories, and those who sought out his advice and counsel. He will be missed dearly.
A visitation for Nick will be held from 3-8pm on Saturday, October 23rd, at Davenport Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.

Nick has been my best friend for 50 years! We were business partners for25 years. If there were decisions to make, he was right 9 out of 10 times! We had fun playing golf and gambling (we were 50-50, we won a little). His whole life was his wife, Debi and his family. He was always there to help them. He enjoyed keeping busy and liked working 7 days @ week.

We had quite a few projects left to do, but God must´ve needed a great carpenter, and an even better boss. I will miss your visits, I will miss the stories. I promise to take care of Debi, Jolene, and Joseph. I promise to watch after the mall, even sitting in your chair and watching the world go by. FinAlly, I promise to get a hotdog stand on the square.
