Patty was the loving wife and girlfriend of Harold Jasper for more than 30 years. She was the mother of Rick Combs Jr. and stepmother to Steve (Betty) Jasper, Donna Jasper and Melissa (Marc) Frydrychowicz. She also was the grandmother of seven, and sister of Linda Jo Nicholson of Florida and Carol (Denny) Roberts of Crystal Lake. She was the sister-in-law of Patsy (Helton) Scaggs and "Aunty-Mommy" to Jimbo Crabtree of Tennessee.
Patty lived in McHenry for the past 20 years. Her favorite placed was River East Library on Route 120 in McHenry, where she was a board member since 2004 and later became the board president. She also was active in the summer reading program for many years. We want to thank her friends and family for their support through her illness, especially the Wrights, the Haydens and longtime friend and doctor, Ted Lorenc.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
