Robert "Bob" William Lawler Jr., 73, of Bushnell, Florida, died Sunday, November 9, 2025 in Sumterville, Florida. He was born January 8, 1952 in Los Angeles, California. Bob was a loving, generous, and supportive husband, father, and grandpa. He cared for his community, shared stories and history with anyone who would listen, lit up talking about sports, and took joy in raising well-rounded children, but more than anything, he was everyone's homeboy. He is survived by his sons, Robert "Bobby" Lawler, III of Deland, FL and David Lawler of Bushnell, FL; daughters, Colli Koger of Joliet, IL, Grace (Bill) McCafferty of Lakemoor, IL, Sarah (TJ) Pigman of McHenry, IL, Mary Lawler of Chicago, IL, Martha (Seth) Watson of Denver, CO, and Nancy Lawler of Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren, Ian McCafferty, Dalton Pigman, Dylan Pigman, Emmy McCafferty, Dakota Pigman and John Watson; brothers, John (Jane) Lawler of Dewitt, IA, and Michael (Ginny) Lawler of Coralville, IA; and sister, Pamela (Craig) Wozniak of Colleyville, TX. A visitation will be held at the Purcell Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, November 14, 2025 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be at the Purcell Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:00 am. Pastor Johnathan Brinkley will preside from Vision Church, Groveland, FL. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. People may send flowers or make a donation to the Ronald McDonald House, ronaldmcdonaldhouse.org/donate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.purcellfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home- Purcell Chapel, Bushnell, Florida.
