Susan Gail Pankow, age 58, passed away peacefully after an intense battle with cancer on March 11, 2025, at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital, surrounded by family.
She was born on February 7th, 1967, in Brown Deer, Wisconsin to Allan and Patsy (Barnard) Winstrom. She married the love of her life, Jeffery R. Pankow.
She received a Bachelor's in Broadcast Engineering from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Though she eventually left the television industry, she maintained a love of technology in her career path, and finished her professional career at Docebo Inc.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Jeffrey Pankow, and her two children, David (Sarah) Pankow and Lian Pankow; mother, Patsy Slezak; brother, Todd Winstrom; sister, Karen (Tim) Schoen; and a plethora of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Allan Winstrom; sister, Carla Winstrom Nordness; and stepfathers, Rudy Slezak and Frank Nilson.
Sue was the kindest individual one could hope to meet, always leading with understanding and doing her best to help anyone who needed it. She was passionate about musicals, her Swedish heritage, and traveling. Her loss will be felt acutely by all who knew and loved her.

Sue and I met at Docebo. She was so down to earth and funny. We immediately liked each other and stayed in touch after I left the company. I will miss her wit, her playfulness, her sarcasm, and her courageousness. She made work fun. I wish I had been able to spend more time with her in person. I´ll miss you, Sue.
