Susan Sauder Obituary
She grew up in Barrington, where she graduated from high school and later moved to Cary. She was employed by General Kinematics for 12 years and Discover Card for 22 years.
She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her love of gardening, cooking and traveling, as well as her love of animals – there never was a cat that couldn't make her smile. She had a wonderful sense of humor and an ability to make everyone around her laugh.
She is survived by her companion, Robert; her daughter, Melissa (Michael); her sister, Patricia (Ronald); her nephew, Christopher (Allison) and their four children, Abigail, Emily, Katherine and Jacob; and a great-nephew, Matthew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor and Arnold; and her niece, Catherine.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Congregational Church of Algonquin, 109 Washington St., Algonquin. A luncheon celebrating her life will follow.
