Died: November 30, 2023 in Crystal Lake, IL
Timothy Duane "Tim" Lawrence, 80, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away quietly at home on November 30, sitting next to his wife of 59 years, the love of his life, Mary Kay. Tim was born in Chicago on New Year's Eve in 1942. He met Mary Kay at Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst, IL where he excelled on the football field and track. Tim and Mary Kay married while he was a student at the University of Notre Dame. They raised their six children in Crystal Lake and loved spending time with them and their 17 grandchildren. His 40 year career at Conlon-Collins Ford in Crystal Lake made him a familiar face in the community. Tim will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family, clever wit, humility and brilliant storytelling.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Lucille (nee Conlon) Lawrence. He is survived by his wife Mary Kay (nee Klouda) and six children: Duane, Eileen, Liam, Nora Kay, Bridgett Ane, and Tim, and their spouses and children; his sisters Suzanne Rogers and Kathy Miller and several beloved nieces and nephews. The Lawrence family invites everyone to celebrate a life well lived, on Wednesday, December 6th from 4-7pm (eulogy at 6pm) at The Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake. The family will lay ashes privately at a later date. Donations may be made to Yellowstone Forever at https://www.yellowstone.org

Dear Mary, I was so very sorry to hear that Tim had died. and that I was unaware of this in time to attend the Dec 6 memorial event at the Dole. He was such a wonderful man, and his generosity and kindness to play roles in the Nutcracker will forever be in my memory.

Dear Mary Kay,
We had great times at our lunches and dinner together. It was usually "car talk" between Tim and Danny.
We still chuckle about the time we had the duck dinner at Villa Bleu and Tim went through that duck like a buzz saw. He certainly enjoyed it.
You both were always there for us with encouraging words during our medical events even though you were going through your own. Tim put up a good fight, and we so admired him for that. Your compassion and loving care is also to be admired.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this trying time.
We will be rooting for ND in Tim's honor.

We are so sorry for your loss, Tim has been a household name in our family for over 40 years, we have purchased many cars from Conlon-Collins and Tim was always there with a smile on his face and a caring heart. He will be missed by many. Al & Holly Ferrarini
