Died: June 1, 2017; in Crystal Lake, IL
Urban Peter Wagner, age 92, of McHenry, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Round Lake on November 18, 1924, the son of John and Gertrude (Deidrich) Wagner. Urban was a devoted Catholic, a member of the COF (Foresters), administered Holy Communion at the Hospital, loved playing golf, spending winters in Florida with his wife Patricia and truly enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Urban is survived by his children, Carol (John) Meyer, Terry (Jackie) Wagner, Kevin (Kathy) Wagner, Diane (Brad) Kleven, Robert (Carol) Schaefer, Gary (Alisa) Schaefer and Liz (Mike) Campana; 24 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Seibert of Round Lake and Louise Godwin of Mundelein.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lorraine; wife, Patricia; brothers, Albert, Joseph, Ralph, Roy; and sisters, Caroline, Dorothy and Marie.
Visitation will take place at St. Mary's Church in McHenry on June 16 at 10:00am, followed with a Celebration of his life Mass at 11:00am.
