Bill Walker was my godfather and uncle. Today is my birthday, a special number birthday, but my heart is so heavy with grief. The tears will not stop. I have always appreciated the birthday cards he gave to me. They are treasured keepsakes of mine. Uncle Bill was thoughtful like that. Uncle Bill was kind. My uncle was a good godfather. My godfather was a good uncle. I have lost a very special person in my life.

Goddaughter, Lynette
