Dear Susan, Kathy, April and kids, I am so very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of him. I remember him meeting us kids on the porch when he came home from work and said "Hi brats"! Joking of course. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. Blessings. Kathy Poxon Winslow

Dear Family of Mr. Godra,
I met Al back in the 90's while bartending at the Griffith VFW. I liked him immediately. He had a great sense of humor, didn't take life too seriously and was a true gentlemen. He shared many stories with me about his family and how each of you were so dear to him. I met April on a few occasions and she was so very caring of her father. He proudly spoke about his service to our country and what many men endured during war times. He was a good man and I am sure you all will miss him greatly.
May God bless all of those that mourn for Al today and in the days ahead. May God bless dear Al for all the good he did while he was here and for his sacrifice and bravery while serving our country. Amen.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Suzie Austgen-Scheidt
