ALFRED D. WHITAKER HIGHLAND, IN
Alfred D. Whitaker, age 88, of Highland passed away April 5, 2015. He is survived by his wife Margaret, daughter Linda (Mark) Spencer, one granddaughter Jamie, two great- grandchildren: Jesse and Jorgie, two brothers: James Whitaker, Gene (Betty) Whitaker, special niece Sue Fech, many nieces and nephews, special friend Rich Holler; preceded in death by his son, Corporal Fred D. Whitaker. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd), Highland, IN. Burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Alfred was a great golfer and fisherman. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans. www.kuiperfh.com

I moved in next to Al and his wife on Spring St. a couple years ago and immediately felt welcomed. He was a great neighbor and I always enjoyed our conversations. Al and the family will be in my thoughts and prays.
