Andrew Goad Obituary

Andrew B. Goad DeMotte, IN Andrew B. "Andy" Goad, age 56, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 at St. Anthony Medical Center, Crown Point, IN. He was born in Gary, IN on June 6, 1950 to Clifford Goad and Jewell (Kile) Neupert. He graduated from Wirt High School, Aetna, IN Class of 1969. Andy was a resident of DeMotte since 1993 and had previously lived in Hobart, IN. On May 28, 2001 in Las Vegas, NV, he married Frances "Fran" McDaniels. Andy was a truck driver employed by Superior Construction. He was a member of Local 142 Union, a member of the NHRA. Andy's passion was his son, wife, grandchildren and drag racing. Andy is survived by his wife, Frances (McDaniels) Goad of DeMotte, IN; son, Andrew (Dawn) Goad of Hobart, IN; mother, Jewell (Kile) Neupert of WI; four brothers: Clifford (Thelma) Goad of TN, Kevin (Candy) Goad of Lake Station, IN, Keith (Lori) Goad of MI and Bob (Dianna) Goad of Leroy, IN; two step-children: Tony (Martin) Coran and Alex Pellegrno, Jr. both of DeMotte, IN; seven grandchildren: Kailyn, Meghan, Brett, Christopher, Brian, Billy and Chrisjon. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Goad; and father-in-law, John Mucha. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Larry Saunders officiating. Interment will follow at DeMotte Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
