Angel Gill Obituary

ANGEL GILL, JR. LAKE STATION, IN Angel Gill Jr., age 80, of Lake Station, passed away at 9:32 p.m. on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Porter Regional Hospital. On March 2, 1933 in East Chicago, IN, he was born the son of Angel and Ruperta Gill Sr. Angel married his wife Rebecca on December 4, 1972 in Plymouth, IN who survives. Also surviving are his children: Michael, Angel "Pookie" III, Janet, Christopher and Craig Gill; siblings: Carmen and Ophilia Gill; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceding are his parents and six siblings: Hope, Evelyn, Arlene, Victoria, Robert and Samuel. Angel attended Washington High School, served in the Army during the Korean War and retired from B and O Railroad after 35 years of service. Visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, IN with John Allen officiating.
