Arlene Karolak Obituary

January 24, 1936 - April 1, 2023

Arlene M Karolak (nee Gwozdz) passed away in her home, April 1, 2023

She is survived by her five daughters: Deb (Bob) Meza, Susan Szynalik, Karen Lewis,

Sharon York, Jackie Webb and also her six grandchildren: Andrew, Kaitlin, Ryan, Evan (Hannah), Natalie and Alison

She was a graduate of Lindblom Technical High School, Chicago, IL class of 1954. Arlene was employed by Hammond Kmart for almost 40 years, known to her co-workers as #62. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends

A Special Thank You to Hospice of Calumet for taking care of Arlene in her final days

A Celebration of Life will be held in her memory, Saturday, November 4, 2023 at

Langel's Pizzeria 2833 Highway Ave, Highland

Family and Friends can visit between 2-6 pm to share memories, food and drinks
