It's hard to believe Artie has been gone for 5 years. I think of him so often. When Lori and Artie came south to see the lunar eclipse the spent a night in Bloomington which I live nearby. Lori took a picture of Artie and I together and I put it on the mirror of my dresser. I see it on a daily basis.
He was the best cousin one could ask for.

Artie, as he was known to us his cousins, was very special to all of us. As our cousin Elaine said to me, "Sad news we lost 'our' Artie. He was truly loved by us who knew him and for me that was my whole life.
I'll miss you, Artie, my dear cousin.
There's now another little hole in my heart.
I will be there to bid you farewell.
