So sorry to hear of Barb's passing. My brother, Rich Barnes, has posted what I would have also said about Barb. We were a close-knit neighborhood in those days, and the Reed's were special friends of my parents. Prayers sent..

It seems like just yesterday my sister, Joyce, emailed me with news about your health. Startled to learn today that you are gone.
Barb grew up across the street from our home near Riverside Park. She was always a laughable, fun, active kid who added so much to the memories of our neighborhood.
Her parents were best friends of my parents which meant that we socialized for block parties, basement celebrations, graduation gatherings, and so much more. We didn't need much of a reason to get together, laugh, drink beer, swap stories, and have great fun together.
Barb, you are going to be greatly missed! But that is one of the roles that good friends play in our lives.
Thank you, kid, for being a part of our lives.

Barb, the sister I never had! Remember "American Band Stand", and hearing you play the organ from across the street. What a fun/crabby person to be around. The "Mayor" I'd call you because you knew everyone and we enjoyed being in your presence. I will miss you Barb.

Barbs double cousin, Doug (Avis brother), was fortunate to celebrate Barbs and Avis 67th birthdays (April 17 and 6th, respectively) on April 12th. Didnt think Barb would pass so quickly.
Lets remember and celebrate the time when Barb was so energetic and upbeat.
