Barbara Salaba Obituary

CALUMET CITY, IL - Barbara A. Salaba, 82, of Calumet City, IL, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. Daughter of the late Edward and Veronica Salaba, sister of the late Joan and Michael, loving companion and best friend of the late Jack Browne.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
Barb taught at Jane Addams for 36 years. Barb loved to travel, read, and play bingo. She will be dearly missed by cousins, nieces, nephews, and her many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, Traditions Health, the charity of your choice or as Barb would say "take someone you truly love to dinner."

Aunt Barbara you are so dearly missed by all, I miss your calls , our talks, your cards. I just can´t believe you are not here. I can only pray that mom, dad, aunt Joan were there to meet you and welcome you to the lords home our hearts are very broken and your great niece abs nephew miss you as do the great great niece and nephew you´re in our hearts abs prayers always

She was the Bingo Queen and will be sorely missed on our bus trips. God Bless You Barb. Keep the bingo going on in Heaven with Pat Lynn's but trips.
