Who was Benjamin Simons? Wise, brilliant, Hardworking, and generous are merely a glimpse of the man he not only was but is as he lives through us in not only memories but lessons he may have taught us or perhaps a joke he may have told. He was a loving husband, a caring father, a magnificent grandfather, and a loyal best friend. His years in these positions not only made him love sharing his knowledge with others he loved learning as well. Whether it came from a pastor, friend, or child he would show all of them the same amount of respect and interest in whatever the topic may have been that was being shared. Words alone cannot express the light and joy he would bring into a room and put everyone in a remarkable mood with his humor. He loved everyone and enjoyed life. Papa, you have indeed left your mark on the world to say you will be missed by all will not begin to scratch the surface of all the aching hearts of those who have had the pleasure of having you play a part in their life. So now I ask you all please whether it be at dinner tonight or lunch next week please take a moment to raise a glass and remember this remarkable man. Forever in our hearts you shall remain never forgotten.

Sharon and family,

I know how dear your father was to you, how much you loved him, and how difficult this time is for you. My prayer is that you will feel the comfort and love of your Heavenly Father who gave you the gift of such a wonderful earthly father and a promise of a Heavenly reunion with him.

2 Corinthians 5:1
"For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down, we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God Himself and not by human hands"

The skies have a new angel and the heavens a star to shine brightly upon those he left behind... R.I.P. Mr. Simons … You will be missed.

Love,
Donna Brennan
