Auntie Bernice we enjoyed visiting and hearing stories from the ages told with your marvelous wit, like the one about Mom and Dad "driving" into Lake George. You were the final link to my families' history. Eventhough we were not related by blood we were through God. You and Uncle Andy were special Godparents to Pandy and I. You are with God who you love along with so many others. When I hear the next clap of thunder I will think of the grand Polka party that is probably happening. XOXO
In the meantime E and I will continue to share chocolate cake.

It's hard to know what to say in times like this. I'm happy Aunt Bernice did not suffer. It's sad losing anyone you love or just care about. It becomes sadder when it is your last parent. Whether you are nearby or away like California, it does not make your feelings better or worse. We all grieve. Aunt Bernice missed Uncle very much. She will always be around you, because that is who she was: watchful and doggone feisty. I love you both. Martin and the boys remember Aunt Bernice as always making them laugh. Enjoy and take comfort in your memories.
