Bernice (Boose) Jones age 94 passed away peacefully in her home in East Chicago, IN on March 11, 2024, surrounded by loving family.
She was born on February 3, 1930, in Canton, MS to Will and Pauline Boose, who preceded her in death. Also preceded in death was her husband Samuel T. Jones.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories daughter's, Lynda Julkes (Cordell Shelby), Regina (Wardell) Greer, and son, Larry Jones. Three adoring grandchildren Takenya Julkes, Cameron D.( Marisol) Julkes, and Andrew Williams. Eight wonderful great- grandchildren, Matthew, Cameron,Tameron, Isaiah, Jordan, Elijah Julkes, Jalen (Shay) Blackmon, & Kalen Blackmon, and a precious great-great granddaughter Xena Blackmon.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 22,2024 visitation at 10:00 a.m. Funeral at 11:00 at Zion MBC, located at 3939 Drummond Street, East Chicago,In 46312.
Rev. Herman Polk, officiating. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery in Griffith, IN.
