Beverly Sullivan Obituary

Beverly Anne Sullivan, 83, of Newburgh, IN gained her angel wings September 17, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN. Bev was born May 15, 1941 in Gary, IN to the late Andrew and Hazel Skalku. Bev has been a resident of the tristate since 1989; previously residing in Merrillville, IN and multiple Florida locations. Bev had a passion for family and family gatherings, was a great cook, and shared much love for her many wonderful puppies over the years.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Steve) Stackert; son, Scott (Shannon) Mizerak; ex-husband, Albert Mizerak; sister-in-law, Sharon Skalku; 6 grandkids, Sarah (Chris) Kors, Steven (Rebecca) Stackert, Tyler (Christina) Mizerak, Tanner (Angel) Mizerak, Katie Mizerak, Kasidy Mizerak; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her husband; her brother, William Skalku; nephew, Randy Skalku; plus her precious pups, Gizmo, Bandit, and Gidget.
Family will have a private Celebration of Life. Contributions can be made to "It Takes a Village" in Evansville, IN in Bev's name for her love of animals.
The family would like to thank Deaconess Gateway Hospice and Heart to Heart Hospice.
