Bruce Cooper Obituary
Bruce Leamon Cooper, Jr., age 31, of Crown Point, IN passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014. He was born on September 21, 1982 to Bruce Cooper and Dawn Pullen in Crown Point, IN. Bruce attended Merrillville High School and completed his education in 2000. He was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost at the tender age of six. He was raised in The Pentecostals of Southlake of Merrillville and attended The Rock Church of Gary as an adult. He was a self-taught artist and musician who possessed a great deal of talent. A loving father, son, brother and grandson, Bruce leaves behind to cherish his memory three sons: Colton Balas, Kruiz Cooper, and Christian Cooper; his mother, Dawn (David) Pullen; three sisters: Heather and Holly Cooper, and Brianna Pullen; five brothers: Todd and Chad Cooper, Joseph, Paul, and Nathan Pullen; one stepbrother, David (Jackie) Pullen; two stepsisters: Tiffany (Adam) Woynaroski and Ashley (Louis) Garcia; grandmother, Sandra (Wesley) Endris of Portage; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Cooper; and his grandfather, Wesley Endris. Visitation will be Friday, June 6, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 5:00-8:00 PM. The funeral will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Visitation and funeral services will be hosted at The Rock Church, 5400 W 29th Ave., Gary, IN with Pastor Philip Endris officiating.

Brucie helped me so much when I first got into church. He was attending the Christian school and I would come up there on a daily basis to play basketball with him and the Endris family. I will always love you and never forget you. You have always held a special place in my heart. You are truly and deeply missed Brucie Cooper.
My heart aches and pains for all the friends and family who are hurting because of the loss of a dear brother and friend. I am earnestly praying for the Cooper and Endris and Pullen family as well as his children and their mothers.
