CARL BILDERBACK PORTAGE, IN Carl Bilderback, age 60 of Portage, IN, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tammy; four children: Holly Bilderback, Heidi Bilderback, Carl Bilderback, Casey (fiancée Krystal Fitchett) Bilderback; three grandkids: Robert, Caleb, and David; mother, Carleen Boyle; brother, Charles Bilderback; two sisters: Carrie (Jack) Trusty, Clarise (Charles) Largen; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Charles Bilderback. Carl enjoyed construction, spending 15 years building houses. He then became the Maintenance Tech for Glennhaven management, where he spent nearly the last three decades of his working career. He enjoyed being the Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop #50 in Portage. His hobbies included tractors, fishing, John Wayne movies, reading, and making snapping turtle soup. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His biggest joy and greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandsons. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 2700 Willowcreek Rd., Portage on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. A further Celebration of Life will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at American Legion Post #260 in Portage.
