To the sons and grandchildren, your mother/grandmother was proud of each of your individual accomplishments and shared your success stories with everyone she knew. Lots of good times and memories of this proud Polish woman. Tremendously hard worker. I can't believe there's any Hammond long-timers whose paths haven't run across Carol. The best parties and social gatherings in her entertainment room. I'll remember how she lit up blocks on Marshall with fireworks when the Bears won Super Bowl. Her spirit taken from us way too early. Wish we could be at the wake, but COVID concerns keeps us away.
