We loved our aunt Catherine from the moment we first knew her. She always spread that love and she was so devoted to her family. Heaven will rejoice to have another 'angel'.

To the entire Milianta family,

If only I could be with each one of you and give you hugs nd kisses. I read the email from my mother, Riz, telling us how Aunt Catherine told the priest to bless her friend, before herself and I said to myself, this is not a surprise, this is how Aunt Catherine always was and we will never forget her. She truly had a heart with wings! I loved getting together with everyone and hear the wonderful stories of both Aunt Catherine and Uncle Sam - I will never forget. May the Lord bless you all at this very difficult time and always. Love all of you!

Your Mom will be missed, she was special. Her lifelong friendship with mom will be remembered. Your mom and dad meant a lot to my mom and dad. Seeing your close loving family is one of the reasons I wanted a large family. Thanks for the inspiration. We love you all. Take care and keep in touch.

Dear Joel, Frannie and family;

please except my deppest sympathy as the passing of your mother has occured. It is never an easy day, when you are so close to someone to have this happen, but with time and god's help,you will manage to overcome the grief and remember the happy times and smile a little more instead of cry. you are a strong family and your mother made you that way. think of the memories often and let her spread her loving wings around you. she was truly a spectactular woman.

may god bless you and your family.

To Catherine

I met an angel today..

She was small in stature, her face was kind, her voice was low and gruff, but her wings were yet to be seen.

The angel was not a stranger to me, I knew of her through another. The day we met, I was a stranger to her, I entered her world.

The angel accepted me easily, we talked, laughed and enjoyed each other. We departed with promises of future visits.

Our first encounter would be our only. There were too many miles and a time limit we were unaware of.

Her earthly body became tired and worn. Her wings have now appeared and she has taken flight to reside where other angels live.

She will be missed by all those whose life she touched and left behind. She was the true example to all of us on how we should all live our lives.

For all of those whose life she touched we will find comfort to know that she now looks at us from above and we have the honor of her presence.
