CHARLES K. SEDERBERG VALPARAISO, IN Charles K. Sederberg, 86, of Valparaiso passed away Monday, June 30, 2014. He was born October 1, 1927 in Gary, IN to Kenneth & Ruby (Samuelson) Lindell, attended Boone Grove Schools and served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during WW II and the Korean War. Charles was a member and past Deacon of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Past Exalted Ruler of the Valparaiso Elks Lodge, member of Porter Masonic Lodge, Orak Shrine and their Motor Patrol, served on the Shriners' Hospital Committee and enjoyed membership with the Duneland Woodcarvers. Chuck's career began with 35 years of service at Heinold & Feller Firestone and continued as a Real Estate Agent with Harley Snyder Real Estate for many years. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (Snyder) Sederberg of Valparaiso, sons: David Sederberg of West Lafayette, Jeffrey A. Sederberg of Valparaiso, grandson, Jeffrey C. Sederberg of Tokyo, Japan, siblings: Roma Cotterman, Marilyn Del Mastro, Carole Knoblock, Jeanine Wiesjahn, Doris Grenzer, Carol Groff, Dennis Lindell and Jack Lindell. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Carl Sederberg. A funeral service will be held Thursday 2:00 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with burial following at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 3 - 7 pm.
