Christopher Castillo born July 20, 1984. At rest June 22, 2016. Beloved son of the late Alfred and late Denise (nee Rakich) Castillo. Dear brother of Nicholas, Jennifer, Michael, Matthew, Stephen, Sarah, Adam, Stephanie and Nathalie Castillo. Beloved grandson of Dmitar and Vicky Rakich. Also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services Monday June 27, 2016 at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, Lansing, IL. Christopher will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service at 11:00 a.m. with the Very Rev. Dr. Milos Vesin officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Arrangements by Kompare Funeral Home, Chicago,IL. (773) 768-8800.

Your father, Al Castillo, and I were very close friends at East Chicago Washington High School. I was just informed of his son's (Christopher) passing (Stephanie). May your memories of Christopher soothe you, your friends comfort you, and your family's strength help your hearts begin to heal.
