Curtis Coppinger Obituary

CURTIS COPPINGER LAKE STATION, IN Curtis Coppinger, age 56 of Lake Station, passed away on July 5, 2015. He was born on April 23rd, 1959 in Gary, IN to Lonnie and Irene (Gilbert) Coppinger. Curtis is survived by his son, Ryan Coppinger of Chicago, IL; his daughter, Breanna Coppinger of Texas; his mother, Irene Clark of Lake Station; brothers: Lonnie (Lynn) Coppinger of Portage, Kevin (Mary) Coppinger of Chesterton, Gary (Karen) Coppinger of Portage, Jeff Coppinger of Lake Station, Darrin (Tina) Coppinger of Portage, Brian (Christina) Coppinger of Portage; sisters: Lonna (Paul) Psomadelis of Ogden Dunes, Misty (Mike) Sweeney of Portage; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Coppinger. Curtis was a lifelong area resident and had worked for Dyna Gel Inc., Fina Oil & Chemical, and also worked in construction doing roofing and siding work. Curtis loved hockey, fishing, and auto racing. Memorial visitation for Curtis will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Edmonds and Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368.
