Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Grutsch-Monchilovich

CYNTHIA ANN "CINDY" GRUTSCH-MONCHILOVICH VALPARAISO, IN Cynthia Ann Grutsch- Monchilovich "Cindy", age 55, of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday June 7, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Cindy was a dental assistant that worked for several local dentists throughout her career. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish and a member of the Our Lady of Sorrow Altar and Rosary Society. Cindy was an avid Blackhawks fan. Cindy is survived by her three children: Michael (Christine) Grutsch of Portage, Jamie Lynn Grutsch of Portage and Hallie Monchilovich of Valparaiso; her parents: Richard and Renetta Grutsch of Portage; her eight grandchildren: Michael Grutsch, Jr., Calleigh Grutsch, Julianna Grutsch, Jesse Grutsch, Presley Grutsch, Trace Massom, Ariya Duron, and Aubree Hoffman; and her three siblings: Lanetta (Marcus) Smith of Las Vegas, NV, Richard (Christine) Grutsch, Jr. of Chesterton and Melissa Grutsch of Spokane, WA. A Rite of Christian Burial will begin with 9:15 AM Prayers Monday June 13, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel and process to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church 356 W 700 N Valparaiso, IN 46385 for a 10:00 AM mass with Rev. Paul Quanz officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Merrillville, IN. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Rosary service at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel 3781 Central Avenue Lake Station, Indiana 46405.
