Dale Hogan Obituary

Dale Hogan

Aug 31, 1947 - Jul 9, 2024

Dale Hogan of Crown Point, IN, passed away on July 9, 2024 at Methodist Hospital Southlake following a brief illness.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy; as well as his children: Lisa and Jeremy Hogan. He also leaves behind his fur baby Tucker, birdie Skipper, and granddogs Oscar, Guiness and Baxter. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Dr. John Stokes of Tarpon Springs, FL; nephews: Jonathan (Tiffany) Stokes and Michael (Libby) Stokes; and great-nieces: Rylee, Alexis, Kit.

Dale grew up in Highland and graduated from Highland High School in 1965. He enlisted in the Army and served in the Vietnam War. He met his wife, Judy, while sitting at the counter of the Teibel's coffee shop. They enjoyed a fun life together with yearly trips to Gatlinburg and Clearwater Beach.

He had many jobs in his lifetime and always worked very hard. His jobs included a purchasing agent, homebuilder, and sales & management in the automobile industry. In his later years he found his true calling as a handyman. He loved helping people and could fix, redo, or create anything he set his mind to. His customers became his friends due to his wonderful personality, ability to tease and amazing sense of humor. He loved all animals and children, and they loved him back. He was especially fond of his little red truck. Dale will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Per Dale's wishes, no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Dale's name to the Humane Society.

Dear Judy and Family
So sad to hear this just yesterday. You both have been a special part of our Quail Meadows subdivision for years! We can all cherish the fun memories of block parties and our kids growing up!
A very sweet memory though is how you two walk hand in hand almost every day with your fur baby! I'm here to listen and need to walk more, don't hesitate to reach out.
