Daniel Byrne Obituary

DANIEL J. BYRNE, JR. VALPARAISO, IN Daniel J. Byrne, Jr., age 68, of Valparaiso, formerly of Chicago, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at home with his family. He was born June 25, 1944 in Chicago to Daniel and Monica (Burke) Byrne, Sr. and graduated from DePaul Academy. Daniel served with the U.S. Army Reserves, was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, worked as a sales representative for many years with Combined Insurance of America, and most recently was a mortgage lender with Supreme Lending. While in Illinois, he had owned and operated Dehne Lawn & Garden in Northbrook. On November 5, 1966 he married Mary Janowski, who survives, along with children: Jennifer Byrne of North Judson, IN and Timothy Byrne of St. Louis, MO; brothers and sisters: Margaret Ann Byrne of Brookfield, IL, Thomas (Ellen) Byrne, Mary Ellen (Pat) McGrath, and Lawrence Pat Byrne all of Chicago, and Maureen Byrne (Dave Hamilton); grandchildren: Will, Tim, Grant, Samantha, Mary, Allison, and Jason; and nieces and nephews: Dee, Carrie, T.J., Patrick, and Julia.
