Dannie Williams Obituary
Dannie "Doc" R. Williams, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2025. He is survived by his loving daughter, Kathleen (Jared) West; and brothers, Larry (Kate) Williams and Mike (Gina) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Rose Ann Williams; parents, Oral Williams and Dorothy Wilson; and brother, Oral "Bud" Williams.
Doc worked as a yardmaster with Elgin, Joliet, and Eastern Railway and he proudly served his country with the United States Army. He enjoyed golf, bowling, hunting, fishing, and collecting.
Services private and entrusted to Solan Pruzin Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Doc by doing something kind for someone who needs it. A warm meal, a helping hand, or a moment of listening-he'd have loved that.
