David Bunch Obituary
David L. Bunch, age 66, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Cheryl. L. Bunch (Bright); dear children: Kimberly (Ronald) Hans, Michelle (Michael) Jeffers, Jessica Bunch and Alexis Bunch; cherished grandchildren: Andrew, Lilly, Kaylee and Hunter; sister, Sandy (Rick) Allen. David is also survived by other dear family members. Preceded in death by his parents: Guy and Mildred Bunch; son, Keith Bunch and sisters: Rita, Becky and June. David proudly served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Simon Lake. He was employed with Team Industries for 20 + years. David was an avid hunter who enjoyed collecting guns and knives. He loved his family along with his dear pet dog Sid. David will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Military honors will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2016, 6:00 p.m., at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 Taft St. Merrillville, IN) Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to David's family. Dave persevered for quite some time with all that he had to deal with. He held on to family and friends to the end. Dave was my very dear friend. He will truly be missed. God's Blessings on the whole family; wife, kids, grandkids, friends.

Cheryl and the whole family, Delvin and I considered David to be a good friend. We loved the times we spent with your whole family celebrating birthdays and holidays. Delvin always enjoyed visiting with David and we loved seeing his knives and other memorabilia that he would bring out for us to see. I wish we could be there but please know that we love y'all and will be praying for you.
