David Flewellen Obituary

DAVID T. FLEWELLEN LOWELL, IN David T. Flewellen of Lowell, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Patty; sister, Susan Hill of TX; son, Stuart of Lowell; his children: Nadia, Ninah, Siera and their mother, Flo; and son, Brian of Charleston, SC; his children, Manny, Sydney, Noah, Isiah, Grace and their mother, Lindsey. Preceded in death by his parents: Hugh Flewellen and Kathleen Peerbolte. David was born in Texas and retired from Mittal Steel after 42 years. Most of his life was spent working, serving, thinking or talking baseball. He volunteered for 22 years in Lowell Little League and in the following years with American Legion Baseball. David also enjoyed hunting with his boys, indulging his grandchildren, and was a magnificent wood worker. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 3:00-7:00 PM with funeral services Friday at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in West Creek Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Hochmuth officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Lowell Church of Christ Food Pantry. www.sheetsfuneral.com
