David Ramirez Obituary
Age 68, of Merrillville, IN passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025. David is survived by his children: David A. (Carolina) Ramirez, Jr., Corrie M. (fiancé Terry Applewhite Jr.) Ramirez, Rachel C. Ramirez, and Nicholas H. F. Ramirez grandchildren; Evelyn, Emily, Marvin Jr., Dajana, David, Aliza, David III, Mahagany, Isis, Corr 'age, Orion, Iris, Elias, Ollie-Rosa, Baby Nick and Genesis. great-grandchildren; Darien, Sophia, Mariana, Ali'Yanna, Mahlani, Messiah, Amiya, Benicio, Baby Marvin III, Zion, and Malakai. His mother; Ernestine Anguiano brother; Jesse Ramirez Sr., sister; Jacquelin Ramirez and several nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues and friends. Preceded in death by his twin brother Daniel Ramirez Sr., sister Violet "Sam" Reyna, brother John Ramirez Jr., father, John Ramirez Sr. David dedicated 42 years of hard work to IHB Railroad in Hammond. He also proudly served his country in the Army. David furthered his education at Indiana Tech in Hammond.
A Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. Services conclude at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the family would be greatly appreciated. Solanpruzinfuneralhome.com
