David J. Wilcox Crown Point David J. Wilcox, age 65, of Crown Point, passed away Sunday, March 21,2004, in Scottsdale, AZ. Survived by wife, Rosemary (Muir); two sons, John (Julie) Wilcox of Janesville,WI, David (Lynn Cacha) Wilcox of Coronado, CA; stepson, Ryan (Deni) Carrell of Indianapolis; stepdaughter, Stacie (Richard) James of Crown Point; four grandchildren, Celeste and Lauren Wilcox, Jacob Carrell, Nicholas James; brother, Bill (Brenda) Wilcox of Simpsonville, SC; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by parents, John and Mildred Wilcox. David retired as Vice President/Area Manager for Ticor Title Insurance Co. after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Northwest Indiana Forum, Indiana Land Title Associate. The Times Board of Economic Advisors, Crown Point Community Foundation, Board of Directors for First National Bank of Crown Point, Mortgage Association of Lake County, Board of Realtors,Youche Country Club, Crown Point Rotary, a Paul Harris Fellow and numerous other civic and service organizations. David attended Ball State University and Wabash College where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231), Crown Point on Friday from 4 to 8 P.M. A memorial service will begin at 5:00 P.M. with John Starr officiating. At rest, Salem Cemetery.
