DON RAMON Obituary

Don Edward Ramon MERRILLVILLE, IN - Don Edward Ramon, age 76 of Merrillville, lost his battle to cancer October 19, 2018. He attended Thornton Fractional North H.S. and served for the U.S. Army. Don was a longstanding member of Teamster Local #142 and an original member and founder of the Brotherhood Calumet Region. His passions included racing, gardening, feeding wildlife, and spending time with his peanut, Aiden. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Bernadette. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lois; children: Tony (Marija) Ramon, Juan Ramon, Jason Janiszewski, Michelle (Paul) Kozubal; father, Antonio; siblings: Ron (Peggy) Ramon, Karen (Mike) Mileusnic, Ricc (Tanja) Ramon, Maria (Rich) Todd, Mara (Greg) Carden, Pia (Ray) Green; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. www.burnsfuneral.com
