Douglas Bigham Obituary

Douglas D. Bigham Portage Douglas D. Bigham, age 47 of Portage, passed away Monday, November 15, 2004. He was born October 22, 1957 in Kentucky, the son of Douglas Leon and Geraldine (Driver) Bigham. A Portage resident for 30 years, formerly of Kentucky, he was a self-employed construction worker. He was married on January 17, 1976 in Portage to Judith Emery. Douglas was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Judith Bigham of Portage; three sons, William Douglas (Julie) Bigham of Portage, James Michael (Jennifer) Bigham of Hobart and Austin Emery Bigham of Portage; four grandchildren, Christy, Elizabeth, Amanda and Michael Bigham; his mother, Geraldine Bigham; two brothers, Tony (Charlene) Bigham of Maryland and Jay Bigham of Portage; one sister, Traci Bigham of Hatfield, IN; one sister-in-law, Martha Vincent,special friends. special friends, Phil (Robbie) Bridegroom, George and Tammy McMahon and Bill and Peggy Thompson; and Brian Silverthorn, other family members and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 18, 2004 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Engel Funeral Home, 2700 Willowcreek Road, Portage. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 19, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at Engel Funeral Home with Pastor Marie Lawrence of Church of God of Prophecy, Portage, officiating. Interment in McCool Cemetery, Portage. Memorials may be made to the family. For information, please call (219) 762-8595.
