Eleanor Ubik (nee Musial) Calumet City Eleanor Ubik (nee Musial), age 87, of Calumet City, IL, passed away on July 30, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Pat (Gene) Mroczkowski, Joan (Al) Rys, Jean (Tom) Atkinson and Laura (Doug) Olsen. Proud grandmother of Jim (Mary), Sandy (Andy), Richard, Brenda (Tim), Debra (Robert), Susanne, Kristine, Scott (Brianna) and Gregg (Nicole). Great-grandmother of nine. Preceded in death by one sister, Stephanie Hopfgartner; one brother, Edward Musial and two half-brothers: Frank and John Abram. Fond aunt and great-aunt of many. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 from Hennessy-Nowak Funeral Home, 400 Pulaski Road (154th Street), Calumet City, IL, 60409 to St. Victor Church. Mass time pending. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hospice of the Calumet Area or the American Heart Association would be appreciated. Hello, and so sorry for your loss, your mother was the most wonderful woman, she was a pillar to all that knew her, I am so blessed to have known and loved her. God bless and heal your hearts as life here on earth will certainly be hard without having her so close, but think of her dancing to Polka music with your dad, the music turned up for them, their happiness to be together forever, God has two of the best angels among him now and will forever hold them.
