Elsie Gismondi Obituary
Elsie Helen (nee DiCicco) Gismondi, age 97, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Elsie is survived by her loving family, Ann (LeRoy) Ferry, Regina (Jack) Markase, Julie (Joseph) Pedroza, and cherished grandmother to her grandchildren and also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Gismondi; her loving parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Notardonato) DiCicco, Siblings; daughter, Joan Gismondi; and her granddaughter, Melissa.
Elsie was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to all. Her loving and caring attitude and personality made everyone she met feel loved and welcomed. She enjoyed taking care of family, reading, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with closing prayers beginning at 1:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, Illinois. Elsie will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Elsie's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Elsie was loved by many and she will be truly missed. www.schroederlauer.com.
