Sorry to hear about your mom. We never got a chance to meet her but if her son is any indication of her morals, spirit, drive and devotion...She must have been one of the best Mom's ever.

John and Linda,

Your mom and the Ross Blue Ribbons 4-H Club has always been for me the yardstick for a great childhood. I've heard that old 4-H'ers never die...they have kids and grandkids in 4-H. My own 4 children have been 10 year members, and while they were in it I wanted to see that they had what I did. Their club leader was caring and competent, but Mrs. Hasprunar went well beyond that. Your mom truly developed little leaders and "her kids" understood accountability, respect, and good, clean fun. What great memories I have of those monthly meetings in the basement!

What a loss this must be to all of you, but great people like your mom remain a part of everyone whose lives she entered. I know she will always be part of mine.

John and Linda --

Hello from a voice from the past. It's been quite a few years since we all attended 4-H club meetings in your folks' basement. At the time, I was too young to realize what an amazing person your Mother truly was! She was funny and outgoing, stern and business-like when she needed to be, always so patient and helpful, and she could do practically anything she set her mind to do. She lived a life filled with service to others and dedicated so many years to helping kids like me. She encouraged every one of us, she believed in every one of us, and she helped us become successful in 4-H and in life.

I think back on those years in the Ross Blue Ribbon 4-H Club as special times. And I feel fortunate that Mrs. Hasprunar was there to encourage us, challenge us, and help us develop into the best we can be. I will always be grateful to her. My sincere condolences on your loss.
