I still think of George often, he had a personality that is hard to forget. One day we will all be together again sitting around like we did in the office..

George was one in a million, if you really knew George you loved him, he really loved his daughters. I knew George for a long time and he was the type of person that if you needed something he would give it to you. I often think of the good times spent at Blvd sales.

Nancy & MaryBeth:
Words cannot express what I felt when I said my final good-bye to a man that I had the honor of growing up with. Your dad, my dad, your mom, my mom, Steve & Elaine Chovanec, are once again together. I can see the smiles now and hear that laughter. I just hope your dad knows how grateful I am for those Saturdays they spent together when he would pick up my dad who no longer could drive. But that was George...never gave an excuse - just gave his heart. Knowing your mom and dad are together is God's way of making it easier. Our selfish needs of wanting them forever is dissolved by knowing how really blessed our loved ones are sitting up in Heaven. May God Bless them and may He bless you with the strength to know our families are our own personal guardian angels. Keeping you in our prayers always.

Hoping that time will bring you comfort, friends will give you strength, and beautiful memories will fill your heart with peace during this time of sadness for you and your family.

"Lift me up my God into thy loving warmth. Look not behind as I approach the safe harbor of Eternity. The binds of pain, tears, and suffering now loose, I know I am saved."

Nancy and family, I am so sorry to hear your dad passed away. He was always so nice to me as he helped me out many times with my cars. The last time I saw your dad was in June, at my brother Michael's wake, and he looked great. I know your hearts are broken, but he is in heaven now where there is no pain or suffering.

To put is simply, our Father George was a "Great Guy!" He was loving, caring, a true gentleman, and the most giving generous person. Thank you to all of you for your warm-loving condolences. We ask that you keep our Family in your prayers during this most difficult time in our lives, and that God give us the strength to endure our lives without our Parents. The only thing that presently keeps us going, is that we know that Dad is once again united with our Mom, "His Dorothy!"
Love to all for your kind words!

Dear Nancy and Mary Beth,

My time stood still when the news of your father's passing was delivered to me. Deep sadness does not due justice to the pain felt on hearing such news. Your father; his attitude, his manner always served as an inspiration to me; that will be with me for all of my time...to say that he'll be missed is simply inadequate, we have lost one of the finest, one of the kindest, one of the most gentle ....we always thought we'd have time for that boat ride....My love, the love and support of my family are with you both.

Nancy & Mary Beth,
There was sadness this morning when I went online and read that your Dad had died, but immediately I felt joy because I knew he went to be with his beloved Dorothy. Theirs was a true love story, and now they will be together again, and happy, for all eternity. Even when I was a little girl, I knew that they were a special couple (they seemed like movie stars to me!), that they loved each other so much, and loved their girls! My heart is with both of you, and I encourage you to use your faith in God to see you through this time. You are so blessed to have had fabulous parents, and I pray that you will continue to allow the world to see the best in them, in each of you.

Nancy & Family, "Our Dear Friend George" Around the corner we had a friend in this great country which has no end. Yet days go by and weeks rush on and , before you know it, another year is gone. Tomorrow We say, We will call George just to show that we're thinking of him, but tomorrow comes and goes and distance between us grows. Around the corner, yet miles away we've learned George passed on today, Our Very Special Friend Vanished. You are in our hearts and prayers, his memory will last forever.
