Jerry - I only traded with you a couple times, but you were always a pleasure to deal with. You even bailed me out and replaced a damaged disc so that the 1A chain could continue on. Your generous spirit will be greatly missed. Take care, my friend.

Jerry was a friend who I will treasure forever. We met through a bunch of mailing lists and I picked up an extra NEARfest ticket for a couple of years so that we'd be sure to sit near each other.

Jerry loved great music and was a loyal supporter of the music series I run in New Jersey even though he lived half a continent away. I tip my glass to you my friend.

Peace-

Jim

I never met Jerry in person, I know him because he was a passionate fan of progressive music.

I run Frogg Cafe's 2 Yahoo Groups, Jerry was a charter member of both. He contributed regularly. His good humor, enthusiasm, and comaraderie will be missed. I regret that I will not have the opportunity to meet him in person and shake his hand. My sincere sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones.

PS - Jerry will not be removed from the Frogg Cafe Yahoo groups he belonged to, his name will always be there in the members directory.

One of the Good Guys to be with. From our days at St Kevins, FM Steak Pub & SJU. What a smile and I can still hear a Sister say 'Mr. Keller wipe that grin off your face."

it is with heavy heart and difficult hand to send my condolences to you and your xchildren at this most difficult time. i have just recently heard sunday evening at home when i had returned from work.about his death. i had the pleasure of working with jerry for 31/2 years at the uic. i was there as an agency tech and worked along with him at various times. he was such a music afficiondo, although i can't say that our taste were quite the same. but we did grow up in the same generation of the 60's and 70's. he enjoyed e-bay quite abit, a bit to much some times, but you know it was very hard to get or stay mad at jerry. he would say to me :ya know debb-o, there are alot more things greater in life than this moment.. . he had helped me quite a bit with conversation regarding my son who was messed up with drugs and into rehab. he was proud of his family, always telling stories, especially ones about the various vacations. his life on this earth was much to short and i sincerely wish you and your family god's speed with his memories and legacy. he surely will be missed by one and all, with heartfelt sympathy debbie kalb rt(r) [email protected]

Jerry was a good friend. We often compared notes about wearing "stents". He was a total professional and we were always glad to see him .

First of all let me say that my thoughts and prayers are with Jerry's family.

I remember Jerry from numerous lists we are both on and when attending my first NEARfest in Trenton in 2002 Jerry quickly responded to a post of mine by sending me 2 cdrs of the bands I was to hear as a sampler!

All he said is "enjoy and buy me a beer at the festival"!

Well unfortunately I never got the chance....6 months later at the festival I shared a table with a man from Chicago by the name of Jerry who after almost an hour of talking music introduced himself as he left the table.

It hit me after he left that it was the Jerry that burned me the cds!

So my friend I will have that beer with you tonight and I hope you know how sorry I am that it was never enjoyed face to face!

Godspeed Jerry

My sympathies to Jerry's family-

I only met him a year ago, but we spoke at length, and I came away feeling I had made a great friend. I saw him about a year later, and he even remembered my name. He will be missed by all of us that he touched - he was a very good man.

My sincere condolences go out to the entire Keller family from myself and my wife Vicki. Although we had only known each other for a short time Jerry was an individual I feel I had known much longer. He was a very genuine person and will be missed by many of his closest friends and acquaintances.

I got to know Jerry from a couple of music lists and through the NEARfest festival in Bethlehem, PA. He loved music, loved to talk music and always seemed to be smiling. I enjoyed conversing and spending time with him.

My sincere condolences on your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Gerry at O'Hare on my way to my first Progressive Music Festival. Gerry was wearing a t-shirt from the previous year. This was the start of an all too brief friendship. Our paths crossed at numerous shows since then. Gerry was a wealth of knowledge on music and other topics. I will truly miss him.

Sorry for your loss. I have had the pleasure of working with Gerry at UIC for the last 5 years. He always had something interesting to talk about. One thing I will remember about him is his interest in eBAy and how every time he came in to work his greeting me would begin with "you know Patty...." and that's where the intersting conversation would begin.
