GERALDINE MAE BARMAN (NEE LoVERDE) CROWN POINT, IN Geraldine Mae Barman (nee LoVerde), age 76 of Crown Point, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Donald; four children: Charles (Maria) Barman of Crown Point, Leonard Barman of IL, Dr. Donna (Dr. Bruce) McDavitt of Zionsville, IN, and Christine (Brian Dunn) Barman of MI; eight grandchildren: Charles (fiancee, Lindsey Rogers) Barman, Marika (Richard) Smith, Dr. Stephen Barman, Abagail Barman, Bryce Barman, Emily Dunn, Jacob Dunn, and John McDavitt; sister, Dorothy (William) Hickey of Chicago. Geraldine was a longtime member of St. Christopher Episcopal Church, Crown Point. She was a full time homemaker who enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. Geraldine was a charter member of South Lake Co. Agricultural Historical Society and Lake County Farm Bureau. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr. (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55), Crown Point, Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Christopher Episcopal Church, 12718 Marshall St., Crown Point with Rev. Spencer Theil officiating. There will be one-half hour visitation prior to the service. At rest Maplewood Memorial Cemetery, Crown Point. Memorials are preferred to St. Christopher Episcopal Church.
