Howard F. Hamilton Crown Point, IN Howard F. Hamilton, age 77, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Colonial Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan; children: Bruce (Dawn) Hamilton of Crown Point, IN, Kevin Hamilton of GA, Mark (Dawn) Hamilton of Wheatfield, IN and Christine Pritt of KY; eight grandchildren: Steven (Stephanie) Hamilton of MO, Rachel Hamilton of Valparaiso, IN, Nathaniel Smith of Crown Point, IN, Corey Hamilton and Kyle Hamilton both of GA, Josh Adank of Wheatfield, IN and Mike and Marcus Pritt both of KY; sister, Madeline Drake of Gary, IN. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, Crown Point, IN with John P. Starr officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN. Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (NOTE: NEW LOCATION) At 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Mr. Hamilton was retired from Inland Mittal Steel Corp. with over 48 years of service. Howard was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a jet plane machinist. He enjoyed working on small engines. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
